In other words, my interpretation of Post-Good ending of Omori. It was written during Christmas, hence the Christmas. :')
(ALSO: I headcanon that Sunny had a crush on both Basil and Aubrey when he was younger. There is no definite shipping or romantic relationships (except Hero and Mari), so please do not ignore this fic in the worry that Sunny will be shipped with someone you think he isn't suited for.)

It was a perfectly ordinary Thursday in Faraway Town, as far as Kim was concerned. She planned to have a sleepover with Aubrey that night, so that would be something fun to do. Her brother would probably want to go steal some more candy from Othermart too, so she could do that later. But for now, All she wanted to do was sit in the park and enjoy the sunshine.
I never really get the chance to do this , she thought to herself, just take a moment to relax. It was hard work being the second in command of The Hooligans. Especially keeping Angel and The Maverick under control.
She sighed to herself contentedly, wondering how long this moment of relative quiet would last.
Not long enough, clearly, as she was startled out of her thoughts as a young girl, probably 12 or so judging by how tall she was, ran past Kim while crying.
Now, on some days, Kim may have just let the girl pass and gone back to her daydreaming; on others, she may have gone to seek out one of her friends to actually do something.
Today, however, she got a very, very bad feeling.

Summary
Everything is normal in Headspace. Everything is happy, perfect, no Truth, heck, Omori hasn't even had to reset in a while!
Until a certain Stranger interferes, and takes advantage of Omori's relaxing hold on the world. Which would be why, during a mostly normal day, Omori starts noticing some.. oddities. Photos messing up, characters saying the wrong name, a certain shadow walking around... And then everything seems to crumble.
Going to be a bit hard to fix this one, huh?Or in other words, Black Space infects Headspace during a particularly normal run through and everything starts bugging out.

Sometimes, if he thought too hard about it, he could feel his mind trying to pull him back into that place he’d finally escaped from. Sometimes he could hear Stranger’s whispers.
And sometimes, he could /see/ them.
But he didn’t need them anymore. He didn’t. He promised himself he wouldn’t go back to his dreams—promised Mari he wouldn’t. So he’d keep that promise. Besides, he had /other/ coping mechanisms now!Everything would be okay. Right?
