A year after Snotlout's mother died, he met his best friend, not that either of them realised how important they were to become to each other, and especially not after how they met, she had not yet forgiven him for the rock to the head, despite it not intentionally being thrown at her, how was he meant to know their was a girl hiding under the waves, in a little cove on the wild side of Berk?
Be warned I will be making up my own cannon in points and I'm definitely going to get at least one detail completely wrong, I haven't watch race to the edge or the films for a while but this idea has been living in my head so, apologies:)

He leaves and strives for a living outside in the Archipelago, but years after his success in befriending dragons, he's forced into a nostalgic predicament; forced to see familiar faces he wishes to erase from his mind. Especially the one and only girl he has yet to move on from.
What will Hiccup do? With his past catching up to him once more, with an upcoming danger from the dragon hunters?
