Scar held the bag of gold aloft, waving it over his head as his team cheered. It hadn’t been too difficult to take down the target, just a rogue golem that had slipped out of its control spell and rampaged through a small village, but the reward had been a few dozen gold pieces, plus a boost to the mercenaries’ reputations.
He barely noticed as an almost imperceptible weight vanished from his right side. He quickly whipped around, searching the crowd as his hand patted his belt, predictably finding the sack of gold they’d earned today missing. Sighing, Scar rolled up his sleeve and pressed the pad of his thumb against the True Sight sigil Inked into his skin, the pair of eyes lighting up as he applied pressure and spoke the activation phrase.
The brunet winced at the wave of energy rolling through him, blinking a few times to adjust to the new wave of information hitting his brain as every detail became ten times sharper. He quickly noticed his target, a short man with a hair color between blonde and brown who was turned away from him and in the process of slipping a certain bag under his jacket. Summary
Before Sasuke left for his travels after The Fourth Great Ninja War, he and Naruto confessed their love to each other. They both knew this love of theirs was forbidden; in the world they lived in, it was impossible for them to be together. They allowed themselves to love each other without shame or guilt, without anyone to judge them but themselves. They allowed themselves to feel this way about each other just this one last time.
When Sasuke came back, Naruto was married to Hinata and even had a kid on the way. He’s been domesticated into the normalcy of the world he lived in, did what was expected of him. And so for Sasuke, there was nothing left to do but to take the same path Naruto did, hoping that the forbidden feelings he had for Naruto would fade away as time goes on.
But it turns out that such feelings don’t just fade away. They only get stronger.

For context, if you haven't read it (spoilers), a group of cleaners go to a festival! We start at the start of the day and make our way through until the festival goes sideways when an insane gifted comes about. Fighting ensues. (fic doesn't go into complete detail about the festival/characters introduced or fight)
You don't have to have read the manga to understand, but this is an actual scene from the manga and will be a part of the anime one day, so I'll warn you of the spoilers now! Most of the fic isn't actually a part of the manga (who went to the festival/how it played out, the aftermath of the festival, and everything so forth), so it's not too bad but still.

Robert responded automatically, giving some cheesy line from the top of his head about looting that even he could tell wasn’t great - though he blamed it on his having to focus on the huge shitstorm brewing across the city thanks to the blackout.
…He didn’t particularly think Golem’s suggestion of “Boo” was that good either, but Flambae obviously had his own ideas of what guys want to hear. Given how often he bragged in comms about getting with different guys, maybe Robert’s judgement was just off.

In a situation of extreme need, Itoshi Rin has to take a job at MHOW, the Munchen Hero Organization Watchtower. But what's the problem? Hero's made their life goal to make hell of the lives of all vigilantes, and it would be of extreme risk to even get close to this tower as one. That didn't stop Rin, though.
