What if said orphans Were the twin jades of Gusu and the Children (both blood and martial) of Jiang Fengmian and Madam Yu. And what if both sets of kids were taken in by gods? Lan Xichen makes a prayer for his brother that leads to them being taken in by the Water Master Shi Wudu who takes pity out of familiar histories while the Yunmeng trio happen upon a humble scrap collector Xie Lian who finds them drifting down river and takes them in knowing fully well what its like to lose your family in war.
(Partly based before the events of TGCF but will end up going in a weird retelling of the story but with teenager versions of the MDZS characters and also some minor plots that tie into the MDZS plot. )(( Slight age changing for reasons :P)){Series is complete However I personally only count part 1 and the short stories.
