It's a simple life, living with vampires as a source of fresh blood. For Techno, it's practically the family trade, or as close as being trained and then sent off to be a feeder can be. He can always be certain that the coven he's serving will take care of him. Most humans don't have that, so he's grateful.
Philza and his coven are more of the same in a long line of vampires needing a blood source for injuries or illnesses. Techno is happy to provide. And if he's almost close enough to touch the fondness and love within the coven... he's grateful.

Someone was watching them.
“Stand up,” Techno whispered, kicking Tommy gently on the foot to get his attention. “Put your phone away for a second.”
He could see Tommy’s body language shift as his mind processed what Techno was saying, and wordlessly he slid the phone into his pocket. Barely raising his head, Tommy met Techno’s gaze with a hint of fear in his eyes.
Slowly Techno shook his head. “It’s probably nothing.”
Before Tommy could respond, he subtly shifted in front of the kid and looked around. There was no one new in the area that he hadn’t already been aware of, but the feeling was still there. A feeling that could mean many things. It could be someone watching them because they recognized Tommy and wanted a picture, they recognized him and wanted to hurt him, or they somehow recognized Techno.
The last two were the ones he was most concerned about.
Those were the ones where it could get messy fast.

There was one thing Phil wanted ever since he was a child, to become a paramedic with his best friend Techno. It wasn’t easy for either of them, facing deadlines and the stress of getting their exams done on time.
Now they were fully-fledged paramedics and considered veterans on the squad. Phil was shorter than most people on the job as a cabbage moth hybrid, barely taller than 4’9. Techno was a boar hybrid and behemoth of a man at 7’2. mostly muscles and covered in tattoos. He looks scary but Phil was never fooled by that, even when they were kids. The poor guy just has bad social anxiety and a resting bitch face, unfortunately.
