Things were finally going right. Hakoda was with them and that in itself felt right. Even Suki and Jet were settling nicely into the main group. The most exciting new was that Zuko had agreed to maybe be a something more than friends with Sokka. Everything was going right... until it wasn't.
Would the gaang all be able to survive against angry sisters, manipulative parties, and internal conflict? Would Sokka and Zuko be able to learn to trust each other? Or, would their choices and a rouge mission of vengeance break everything? Katara seemed determined to find out.

He starts stripping. He has enough heat in his body right now to last him a little while without his clothes. He ignores the “what the fuck…” he hears from the injured girl and starts knotting them together.

Summary

When Zuko is forced to see the world outside his ship, he sees some disturbing truths about his home. But at least he has Hakoda to help him. Which ends up going up in flames, Zuko knows a lot about flames.
Home is where his father is, where the Fire Nation is. But the crew teaches him that home is where the people are.

“I don’t,” Jee says, but he doesn’t move. The hallways in this part of the ship are thin enough that if he stands squarely, none can move by without pushing. “If you have some contention with the Commander, it should be discussed with me, not him. That’s the way we keep things civil here.”
“Contention?” Smoke wisps slowly from Kimura’s nostrils. “I just want to give some advice, that’s all.”
“I’ve heard about the consequences of your advice.” Jee can’t help spitting the last word, tongue heated. “Even if I knew where he was, I don’t believe it would be in anyone’s interest to tell you.”
“You shouldn’t believe everything you hear,” Kimura counters. “Should I believe the things they say about you, Lieutenant?”

Al contrario de ellos el resto del mundo esta en luto con su ultima esperanza muerta a manos de la princesa de la nación del fuego si las historias que se esparcen son algo a considerar, un par de afortunados saben mejor que ello ayudando al avatar mientras este se recupera para volver a la pelea en el territorio enemigo.
En el mismo palacio de la nación del fuego sin embargo no se puede reconocer a enemigos de aliados, para un príncipe sin memoria de los últimos tres años el peligros asecha en cada pasillo.Continuación de "El espíritu azul, vigilante del reino tierra"
