Summary
Without Thad there to dissuade him over the summer, Bart had started pretending there wasn’t a ladder down from his top bunk. He’d just leap straight off the side and land wherever gravity decided to take him.
Twice, it’s ended with Bart in the middle of Thad’s ritual circle. His pajama pants are charred near the hem from yesterday, when he landed too close to the candles.
This time he’s just mindlessly smudging Thad’s runes and doesn’t even have the good sense to get set on fire about it.
“Do you mind.” Thad says. Loudly. “I was using that.”
_Chaos magic is the hardest to learn, but the easiest to master. Anything can be achieved, as long as the magician believes — truly, unflinchingly — that it can be done.

Let it be said that Bartholomew Allen had absolutely no fucking idea how he got here.
Well, scratch that.
He knew how- his world hopping tendencies were known and warned about multiple times. However, considering that, oh, the multiverse was technically supposed to be gone (unlikely) and inaccessible (more likely), he figured as he made a hop in his spare time into the speed force he wouldn’t fall back into old habits and other worlds. He’d go on a run, maybe get a souvenir from wherever he popped out for Ace and the West siblings, and then be right back before Max noticed he was missing for too long.
The Speedforce, it seemed, had other plans.

Captain Marvel has this Speed of Mercury thing. Billy just wants to make friends with a rare visiting hero.

Tim thumbs at the hole in the wall, running his fingers over the smoothened edges with a grin that promises trouble. In any other circumstance, Kon would worry for the safety of his dick, but Tim likes it too much to do anything particularly heinous.
His mouth opens, and before he's even started speaking Kon feels his skin heat up in anticipation. "How about-"
The bathroom door creaks open, and Tim's hand snaps away. Kon holds his breath, praying they go for a urinal. The click of the other stall tells him he's not that lucky.
The very, very familiar heartbeat tells him he might just be done for.

Bart squirms on the couch, legs kicking out against the armrest, pillow tucked into his stomach, the not-pain discomfort refusing to go away. "Periods suck."
He gnaws on the edge of the pillow as the room goes silent.
"Bart," Robin starts, almost painfully slow. It's the 'Grife-Bart-what'd-you-do' voice, but it's not like he's done anything. Today, anyway. "You don't have those."
Bart scoffs, pulling his mouth away from the attack on the fabric. "Not before, but I do now. Remember?"
Several months before, Young Justice crossed paths with a supervillain with a particular set of skills. Bart was hit, changed permanently, and moved on with his life pretty quickly.
Somehow, no one's noticed. Until now, that is.
(Bartholomew Henry Allen the II does not understand why it's such a big deal what's inside his pants. This century, he concludes, is so weird.)
