What if the Kings had never been locked in the hollow?
OR
The kingdoms have been at war for eighteen years. When the princes of both kingdoms are of marrying age, their mothers, tired of the years of bloodshed, prepose that they are to be put in an arranged marriage as a way to finally end the war. The princes are of course hesitant to this but they must go through with it if they want to save their kingdoms. However, as they spend more time together, they might like each other more than they let on.

Summary
There are whispers of an impending attack on Camelot deep in the forest. Of course, Merlin is rattled at first- to warn Uther, however, would cost him his greatest secret. He decides to wait...and nothing happens.
Until the ground begins to crack. The crops refuse to grow. Trees and vines slowly trickle into the kingdom, stealing away the earth, and the kingdom sinks into drought and famine like they’ve never seen. Merlin longs to help. But to reveal his magic at a time when sorcery is so prominent in daily life, working against the people with a mind of its own, will certainly mean death.
So, Merlin leaves Camelot.
Days later, he returns with a clever disguise, and a plan (which does not involve falling for a certain prince).

Summary
There are two kingdoms: the Blue Swords and the Black Armor. Those two kingdoms have been at war for ages. The Gods, who were watching from above, aren't fond of it and punish the greedy kings by giving them a deadly plague. The plague spreads through both kingdoms and due time most of its people are infected. There is one way to stop it. A person of royal blood who has a pure heart and soul must go to the floating island Angel Island and find the Master Emerald which contains godly powers. It takes only a simple touch for the plague to disappear, but it would be the end of the person who touches it.
