Summary
Geralt is relieved to finally have all of his family around him, despite having just lost five of his brothers at the hands of The Deathless Mother. For the time being, they are all safe within the walls of Kaer Morhen but for how long? The Wild Hunt want Ciri for their own and Geralt knows that they will have to move on soon and keep moving. Things within the keep are not quite as they should be however, and Geralt is too preoccupied with his Child Surprise to notice.
Note: Characters are tagged in order of appearance, not story time. I may get around to bringing Geralt up the ranks eventually but I haven't even rearranged the tags on Part One yet, so don't hold your breath!

On the coast of Bremervoord in what seems to be a normal extermination contract quickly turns sour, and when old friends, old enemies, and new enemies start to appear, the Witcher Geralt must walk the line of trying to find the cause of the murders in the city, and keeping hold of those he holds dear. With dark magic afoot and a monster Geralt has never delt with before, he will be hard pressed to come out of this alive.
