Twenty years is a long time. Twenty years of hate. Twenty years of resentment. Twenty years of regret. That’s a lot of feelings and they can’t just be forgotten after one perfect harmony to save their brother.
Floyd needs time to recover so Branch offers his bunker for them to stay at however it’s not all lollipops and rainbows. For the first time in Twenty years, they’re all under the same roof again and while they’ve all changed in the time they’ve been separated, somethings never change.
John Dory is trying his best to be there for his brothers and adapt through all their changes. If only they would let him. If only they would accept that he’s changed as well. Like how he’s older and not that perfect obsessed troll anymore. Like having a husband who was also a bounty hunter.

Rock Trolls for decades have been set on uniting all the Musical Tribes. In the years of their conquest they've made many Musical Colonies across the lands.
Their newest Colony once called Bergen Town now served its new purpose of converting Trolls to Rock.

Yet things don't last long, just as his relationship with the Rock royal family continues to burn away along with his declining mental stability with a past Jade had long forgotten. He tries to keep what he has as Leader with this year's batch of Trolls, 5 Bounty Hunters, to convert.
But things begin to go wrong when one of the Bounty Hunters escape under his watch and the Resistance puts his Colony under siege cutting off any help from the Rock Tribe.
Faced with either completing the Conversion to wipe out the Resistance or death. There's only so much Jade can do and it doesn't help many eyes in the Colony would rather watch him die than continue under his leadership
Just how much can a Colony handle until the siege is broken or a Leader is put down?

Turning around, John slowly looks back up at their pod, he could just barely make out a flash of Purple crashing out of it, followed not long after by a crazed streak of Yellow, both scampering higher up into the tree. Oh, so they stormed out together, that’s good, that they're not alone. He’s glad for once that they never follow his lead, afterall, this would be the worst time for his brothers to start taking after him.
Essentially, another John Dory came back story, where John didn't know the others left! Because I don't think he did. I don't know why I'm obsessed with this one Troll, but I am. Also, I am sprinkling in headcanons because I can, tell me yours and we can talk about it.

John Dory. He was an enigma. He was the eldest of his siblings, he was strong for a troll, he liked being practical but had a complicated way of thinking. He was different, but familiar. It was weird. But, he was loved and he loved back twice as hard. In that he took after his mother, so much so that he looked like a male copy of her. The only difference? Her vibrant royal blue hair.
He was the perfect boy with a perfect life.
But that changed and it was for the worst.
He got bossy and started making decisions about his family's band without consulting his brothers, he started controlling everything they did, from every quirks and habits to every single thing they say.
He forced them into these roles that they can never fit “perfectly” into. He got so obsessed but none of them said a word. Maybe they should have, or maybe they did the right thing, because right after they failed to achieve the Perfect Family Harmony came the storm… and they went their separate ways.
