All Origins exist in the world of this series (not both genders, though), but Female Cousland is the Warden. All others either die during their stories or are just normal folks that might show up later. This leads to some canon divergence, obviously. Sometimes MAJOR canon divergence.

To Alistair, life was unfair. Born a bastard, scorned and unwanted by the world, casted aside to the Chantry where they taught him to fear magic and it's users. Even from their teachings, Alistair didn't have a problem with magic, or even with mages for that matter, it was mages that had a problem with Alistair. Hugo Amell had a problem with Alistair.
In his second and final attempt to escape the Circle, Hugo Amell had found himself at the mercy of the Wardens. He lived his life in fear of his templar jailors, beaten, demeaned, dehumanised, he hated them with a burning passion. The irony was not lost on him when learning that his new companion was a former templar recruit.
Together in blood, tears, sweat, hate, love, indifference, the two must come together to bring about an end to the Fifth Blight.
