Charlie was used to the dark. It had honestly become quite the comfort to him, wandering through the quiet, looking up at the sky which was often clouded and dim. Tonight, however, the skies were clear. He could see the stars glistening down on him, constellations illuminating his presence ever so slightly more than the simple moonlight always did. If he was honest with himself, he didn’t think he deserved it, not with the quest he’s on tonight.

The chime of the door to the shop opening snapped her out of her thoughts as a new face entered. It wasn’t all too rare that a new customer entered the shop, though it wasn’t all too common either, so when this new person came in with a bright smile and curious glint in his eyes, Mariana couldn’t help but stare.

Dark hair curls on top of his head, and gold rimmed glasses press up into his nose from where his head leans against his wing.

Death is something Mariana was never fond of. He'd never given it much thought aside from what might happen to Flippa if he died. So, when he finds himself, well- dead, he swears to get back to her as soon as he can. To his surprise, this happens much faster than he originally expected, and even he's not sure how he pulled that one off.
I apologize in advance for any weird Portuguese or Spanish! I'm learning Portuguese actively so those translations are all on me but I absolutely suck at Spanish and I'm aware of that kkkkk. Let me know how you like the translation cutaways or if I should just let y'all translate them yourselves!
