Summary
An unlikely love story unfolds between two Mobian's. Surge the Tenrec trying to figure out her life, after joining up with Clutch and Mimic. The ever-loyal Kitsunami at her side as they work all day for the Restoration bringing Usable cores, trying to get enough to get by.
Silver, the ever-clueless Futuristic boy that he is, tries to figure out his feelings for Blaze, never seeming to find the right time to tell her how he feels, and ends up befriending the troubled Tenric who doesn't trust him as much as she could throw him.
Amy is stuck between a love Square knowing two big secrets and trying her best to keep it from everyone, not wanting to hurt anyone, let alone Silver the most.
Shadow helps Amy try to see what Surge's intentions truly are, trying to keep Silver safe, but what will they find out as they watch both Kit and Surge on a stakeout? Will they see they mean no harm, or will they find out something more? Is Silver in danger from the sparky electrifying Tenrec? Or will Silver find something he couldn't find with Blaze?

Sonic the Hedgehog, a franchise with plenty of debated Eras and even more Continuities, some far more dangerous then others for an isekai victim as human as the egg-headed main antagonist himself with no super-intelligence or cheats or systems to speak of. Just meta-knowledge, lots of it, and by extension, plenty he can do with it.
Sonic Films? Fine. Sonic X, Boom, and Prime? Manageable. Gameverse? Dicey, but doable. Archie and Fleetway Comics? No thanks. Sonic SatAM and Underground? Better than dealing with any EXEs, still wouldn’t even if his second life depended on it. Shame that he has no choice in the matter.
At least he can decide what to do after the fact, make the most of this situation he’s stuck in. So what to do then? Join GUN? As if. Go the Chris Thorndyke route? Pass. Babysit the cinnamon roll-haired hologram that got carried along for the ride? Meta supposes that, exploiting plot holes aplenty, and causing chaos for all things canon will have to do.

(Or, How I Spent Christmas Nosediving Into Shadamy Fandom And Emerged With Opinions About Why Shadow's Such A Stereotypical Edgehog.)
My second ever fic, and my first time writing for this fandom, which is frankly ridiculous of me given I've been a fan since 1992. Slow burn of personal walls coming down. References to in-universe mythology that I'm kinda headcanoning as I go, and not beta'd, so this may diverge from deep-lore details in places. Rated for references to Maria's fate, for the possible political implications, and for a few bad things (and one or two truly horrific things, see tags) in the pasts of others too.

A fantasy setting where fae creatures and mobians are at odds with one another. Technologically-inclined characters are instead magically-inclined.
Tails is essentially a hermit and doesn't really mesh well with societal expectations. Even so, he cares deeply for others and uses his magical prowess to protect the town from dangerous and harmful fae. His recent efforts lead him to taking down a kelpie that has already claimed multiple lives. His insistence on using nonlethal methods on even such a heinous creature might lead him towards rethinking everything he's ever learned about the fae.
