Summary
“You’ve been… different, since you got back,” Sky whispers tentatively, opening his eyes once more. There is nothing judgemental in that gaze, but it exposes him fully. His tone is too soft for how the words open a pit inside of Wild’s stomach. “I mean, of course you would be, you’ve been away for a year. But I feel like there’s something else.”
Wild doesn’t move. No one has confronted him yet on his behaviour. The worried looks from Twilight are endless, and Time had quietly pulled him aside to offer an ear should he need it, but he had not been directly asked about what happened.
He wonders if Sky will be the first.
“Did you lose someone?”

Summary
Three left. Sky dealt better with his anxiety and breathing issues when distracted, and he'd probably tire himself out and end up falling asleep sooner rather than later. Sky's coddling was most of the care Four needed, as well; mentally, Warriors knocks Four – the person – off his list of people to take care of.
Injuries, now. Some of the tension leaks from Warriors's frame. Injuries are easy, now, familiar, no matter who he's treating. The current lack of healing items should stress him out, but that, too, comes with a strange tinge of comfort; they'd never had enough supplies during the war effort, perpetually using more than they could gather.
Familiarity was comforting. That didn't mean it was good.

Summary
“We're too late,” Sky croaks, voice dry.
“There's more to do,” Warriors responds. His voice is kind, strangely so. “We can still save a lot of people.”
It hits Sky, then, that this is what Warriors deals with on a near regular basis. He's an army captain. Sky's seen the memorials in the man's era. He's seen the casualty counts. He'd just never realized the magnitude of each number engraved into stone, usually four or, occasionally, five digits long. Both civilian and military casualties.
He tries to imagine ten thousand people. His head spins.
Five instances – some serious, some funny – of Warriors being seen through Sky's eyes.

Summary
“I need to try this on a broken bone,” Hyrule says, near breathlessly. “Whenever I heal my own bones they come out kinda wonky.”
"They what,” Warriors says, smile turning strained. Hyrule takes one of the man’s hands and presses it to his tunic, feeling the slightly misshapen ribs underneath that Hyrule hadn’t really known how to fix. He’d figured out the concept of setting bones pretty early on - through messy trial and error - but ribs were confusing in that regard. “Ooh, Nayru.”
“It’s a miracle that you’re alive,” Twilight informs him.
“Thank you,” Hyrule chirps.
Fairy magic isn’t meant to be used by Hylians, even if Hyrule’s somehow gotten the grasp of it. He’s also become the Chain’s healer and is unhappy about it. Warriors steps in to help.

Summary
Chiaroscuro: The contrast of light and darkness
Hyrule has been shattered. A dark and familiar force is helmed by the Yiga Clan, and no one is safe from their tyranny. A dethroned princess battles against insurmountable odds, desperate to reclaim the land again in the name of the light. At her side, a boy fights, unaware of the part he will play in destiny. The Chain is thrown into this dangerous new world tasked with dispelling the evil that has pervaded every corner of their home. Will they be able to succeed? Or will they to fall to the darkness?

Summary
The lid creaks open, remnants of dust and gloom sliding off with the motion. The plant’s glow illuminates the corroded underside of the lid. It must not be airtight then. Hopefully whatever’s inside hasn’t completely decayed over time.
The brightbloom is not quite tall enough to cast light inside the box, so he reaches a hand in - his hand, his untampered hand, not the rotting corpse permanently fixed to his shoulder - and grabs a hold of it. Whatever it is, it’s soft, although he can feel a tear in the otherwise smooth fabric. New armour, then. He’ll have to take it to Purah to see if it is magically-inclined.
It is only once Link drags the item of clothing out of the case that the breath in his chest stutters.
Wild stares at the faded tunic that belonged to Sky, and can’t quite suffocate the harsh sob that rattles his breast.

Wind is different from the other heroes. It's not just the fact that he's the youngest, though that's definitely a part of it. It's the fact that almost every other hero has these shared experiences that they can talk about around the campfire that bring them all joy, but when he does it everyone looks at him like he's grown a second head.
Wind grew up in a drowned Hyrule, with foreign creatures, unique travel methods, and a Triforce that never really belonged to him. How does the life he's lived affect his experiences with the others, and their Hyrules?
A 5+1 styled story about 5 different ways that Wind feels out of place compared to the other heroes, and 1 where he feels right at home.

He threw the rope down and started to climb. When he reached the ground, Link hurried away from the wall, grinning despite himself. He’d made it out.

Legend snapped back into action, lunging for the open door with a snarl, but the chains around his wrists stopped him just before he could reach it.
Hyrule couldn’t breathe. He remembered the last time, what the people had been talking about doing in the second round of injuries. They’d said that was when the knives would come out.
He kept struggling in between the two men holding him, but it was useless. Hyrule stared back at Legend, not knowing what to say, not even thinking he could manage to say it if he did. He just wanted one more moment of reassurance, before he was torn away.
“Fuck, just - just take me instead!” Legend shouted, straining against the chains. “He doesn’t know anything, it’s me you want.”
OR:
Legend and Hyrule get captured by people who want to get back at Warriors. Hyrule trusts Legend's experience and smarts to get them out of there, but when Legend is severely injured, he might just need to find the confidence in himself to get them both out alive.
