None of it is okay, none of it makes sense.
But the past always catches up to the present, no matter how expertly you run.

“The Black Wolf is known for his bloodthirst and the carnage he brings to all who oppose him. You believe you know better?”
“I know why he comes after us. I know what will appease him. And more importantly, I know one thing that those tales of great bloodthirst all seem to have missed.”
“And that is?”
Lu Guang finally brought his eyes to meet the Queen's. With a calm smile, he asserted a single truth. “He is Omega.”

Lu Guang...Am I too greedy or is this my right which you bestowed upon me because you thought I was pitiful? You're the one who set everything, whenever I pushed in, you welcomed me in further. But you've been pushing me away and it...it breaks me, can't you see that? All I want is to stay with you, yet you pull away whenever I get too close. Please...don't do this to me anymore— I can beg if you want to! I-ll get on my knees, I'll do anything! As long as it's for you, I'll do anything..."
Lu Guang has no strength, nor any bones in his body that can fight to keep his hideous lies under his skin as his unexpected heat messes with his whole damn existence. No scent patches or practice to keep everything covered, suppressed— can keep his pheremones away when the person he longed for, burned himself for bit by bit every single day, is so close to him like this, breathing him in as if Cheng Xiaoshi knows everything...
He's losing the battle he stubbornly carried on for years against himself...maybe Lu Guang’s yielding was an inevitable outcome.

Cheng Xiaoshi always thought the worst he could have was failing tests, being gossiped about, and maybe losing a basketball game or two.
He never thought a simple night walk would end like this — with a body in the lake and his whole world collapsing around him.It all happened so fast. One mistake, and everything he knew about himself is gone.

Summary
His hand shook as he lifted the blade again, the steel coated in thick red, the edge dulled from overuse, the handle slicked with sweat. His reflection wavered faintly in the smear of blood—White hair clung to his forehead, dull, hollowed eyes—were they always this dark?
They stared back at him—empty, too bare.
Pale skin smeared with crimson, his wrist and sleeve caked in gore. His jaw clenched slightly at the putrid scent of blood.
He could still taste it — bitter.
How long had he been doing this for?
Years, weeks, months?— he hadn't kept track; he hadn't wanted to. And yet, now, staring at the motionless flesh by his boots, he finally understood why.
Time wasn't something he could afford to measure.
Not anymore.

Summary
Cheng Xiaoshi swore that this semester, he’d finally take down Lu Guang—the quiet, infuriating hot genius who’s been hogging the Top 1 spot since freshman year. His plan? Distract him until his GPA drops.
The execution? …Let’s just say it involves suspicious amounts of “accidental” study sessions, coffee bribes, and Lu Guang’s confusingly soft smile that keeps ruining everything.
To make things worse, Xiaoshi keeps dragging his sister Qiao Ling into his meltdown sessions, while she’s just trying to eat her noodles in peace. -

Summary
Cheng Xiaoshi, regrettably, is stuck in a rural town for his mom’s work for the next two months. So, like any sensible twelve-year-old during early spring, he casually roams the city and eventually ends up at a train station just outside of town.
There, he meets a strange kid who seems just as lost as he is- but for entirely different reasons.
All of a sudden, his entire world becomes brighter, and he finds it easier to wake up each day since.
He learns more about the pale boy's likes and dislikes (especially his unusual animosity towards adults), the two of them share stories, and they talk like regular kids with normal families for quite a while each day.But when a forecast of a deadly hurricane over their area becomes prominent, Cheng's got to make a choice. He can either drag his friend to shelter, and potentially ruin their friendship-
-or leave him be, and risk the loss of one of the only friends he’s sure he’ll never forget.

Summary
It's said that Lu Guang and Liu Xiao's grades rival each other at the top of the leaderboard, but the two have never exchanged words or even spared glances. They're barely on each other's radars.
When Lu Guang's father requests that he relearn piano in a short period to perform for upcoming dinner guests, the last thing Lu Guang expected was to end up having Liu Xiao tutoring him after cornering him in a music room late after classes.
As their sessions go by, however, Lu Guang feels himself more and more drawn to the mysterious boy and inevitably develops a bit of a crush on him. When Liu Xiao's family shows up for dinner, Lu Guang can't help but feel much more nervous than he had been prior.
Will he perhaps manage to impress Liu Xiao with a performance showing all he'd learnt from him, or is there something about Lu Guang that has been on Liu Xiao's mind from the very start?

Summary
Despite being his best friend, roommate, and business partner, there was surprisingly little that Cheng Xiaoshi really knew about Lu Guang.
His roommate rarely shared anything about his past life. In fact, to-date, all that Cheng Xiaoshi had been able to pry out of him was that he was:
1. An only child
2. Allergic to bananasCheng Xiaoshi was still unsure if that second one was an actual allergy, or just one of those things Lu Guang said because he didn’t enjoy the fruit's texture.
He was unsure about a lot of things about Lu Guang. It frustrated him.
The younger boy was decidedly a closed book. Conversations about their childhoods always circled back to Cheng Xiaoshi, so did ones about their parents, friends, and dating lives before they met each other. Cheng Xiaoshi had been able to shrug it off before, but the longer they knew each other the more it felt like Lu Guang was keeping secrets.
He seemed particularly nervous about the topic of romance.
Or:
Cheng Xiaoshi decides to pry. Why would his best friend be keeping secrets? Would he ever be ready to share?

"My mother once told me about a beautiful valley hidden somewhere within the kingdom. A place said to be built like paradise—so breathtaking it could steal the very air from your lungs. She longed to see it herself, but no one ever found it. Over time, people began to assume it was just a story." He pressed his lips together, a flicker of hesitation passing over his face.
"She didn’t believe that. Not once. She always said it was still out there... somewhere." He paused. Then—almost like a secret—his voice carried on.
"And for some reason... I want to go there one day, too."

Summary
Through the sound of the rain, a melody reached his ears, delicate and haunting. A voice, pure and ethereal, rose and fell with a grace that made the night itself seem to hold its breath.
Lu Guang followed the sound, each note drawing him closer, pulling him away from the comfort of his home but to the opera mansion like a moth to a flame.
There, beneath the shelter of the mansion’s roof, was a crouched figure cloaked in shadows, as he traced his slender finger in the mud while the other hand hugged his knees to his chest. He sang with a sorrowful beauty, each word a brushstroke of melancholy that painted the night in hues of longing and regret.
The white haired stood in the middle of the street, afraid to move, afraid to break the spell. The song wove around him, wrapping him in a cocoon of bittersweet emotion. Memories of regret and family lost to tragedy flashed through his mind. He could feel the pain in his voice, a mirror to his own heartache, yet it was also laced with an undeniable hope, a fragile promise that resonated deep within him.
Just as the final notes faded into the night, his voice lingering in the air like a sigh, their eyes met.
