“Bucky, you’re hurt.” Tony crossed his arms across his chest and watched from his place on the front step as the large anthropomorphic wolf stumbled past the gates. The magic barrier shifting just enough to let him in before closing behind him. The normally perfectly white fur on the shifter was stained red with blood, blood that smelled both of Bucky and whatever it had been that he’d killed.
‘I’m fine.’ The booming voice echoed in Tony’s head making him roll his eyes in annoyance.
“No, you’re clearly not."

Bucky and Tony finally get the pack house to themselves for the night and Tony plans to have as much fun as possible, even if Bucky went off and got himself hurt first.

Turning his eyes to the ceiling, Tony willed some patience. The shadows under his door shifted as the animal prowled back and forth before the whining and pawing increased.

All of that changes though when one Scott Lang comes back to tell the team that there is a way. There is hope to get everyone back. Not without a sacrifice though, like everything else Tony has done in his life. He will make sure to get back what was promised so long ago.
