The Milano is shrinking. Or rather, the Guardians are apt at finding new family and are even better when it comes to leaving no one behind. So what if it's a little crowded? It could be argued they have all the space in the world, considering literally living in space.
Thankfully, there are plenty of plausible solutions for such an issue-other than upgrading the Milano herself-that makes the Sovereign Adam Warlock's merging with the current crew much simpler. It all comes down to their captain, Peter Quill, and his ability to maintain his composure and any semblance of self-control...

This is a candle-lit type of slow burn. I tried to write something that doesn’t cast aside plot as it builds relationships, to make every spark feel earned. It asks for a little patience, but aims to give something deeper in return.

My own version of Peter in Gotham except I don't baby his character and he's actually more a vigilante then he is a 'hero'! This means his strength, healing factor, smarts and other skills aren't dwelled down like I often see in some Peter fics.

Summary
This is the first story in a fanfic series about a young and rebellious girl named Skye, who was forced to grow up way too soon, as she was raised in the Red Room, and later in Hydra as well. Her life is a tragic story, and somehow she gets tangled in the Avengers' story, who eventually change her life. But living with the famous heroes doesn't always mean peace and quiet.
Skye's story is divided into a series of shorter stories, each running through a movie, starting with Avengers: Age of Ultron (this story) and then continuing through Captain America: Civil War, a little bit of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame, with a few details changed. I also hope to write further into the Multiverse Saga, but we'll see.
