Eliot Waugh and Margo Hanson’s Second Annual Christmas Soiree a warm blaze of light and drunken debauchery whirring all around him. He was drunk but not as drunk as he wanted to be. A joint tucked behind his ear that he desperately needed to smoke but refused to smoke alone on principle. Horny as ever but with no realistic prospects to charm into his bed when the night was through. Not anyone he hadn’t had a half dozen times already, that was. Halfway into his second year, he was pretty sure there wasn’t a single queer boy on the Brakebills campus he hadn’t fucked at least once. And they were all so goddamn boring.
Or: Eliot is sort of pathetic. Quentin is sort of brave. Thank you, mistletoe.
