Dieter has a great many talents, he was a straight A student, a talented pianist, he’s a brother four times over, he can speak three languages fluently, another shoddily. He could replace a fuse, rewire a socket and change the tire on his mother’s car without breaking a sweat by the time he turned thirteen, and now a decade later he likes to believe that he’s only matured like a fine wine.
But put him in front of a middle-aged man pretending to be a hipster because he’s buying local and has a loyalty card that subsequently becomes his whole personality?
That’s a whole ‘nother level of fuckery.

Summary
Vanderohe has dreamed of monsters, and faces, and his death, over and over again. He's chalked it all up to childhood nightmares, until he lives the nightmare of the fall of Las Vegas, and feels an ominous sense of deja vu.
When he expects himself to die at the hands of Zeus in the heist years later, he doesn't expect himself to live.
What he doesn't actually expect is for Dieter to raise up the knife he had given him, and slam it into the back of Zeu's head again, and again, and again.
