This story is about my Hero of Kvatch and revolves around the events that will lead to the Oblivion Crisis and Shivering Isles.Illent Irvine also known as Illent of Solstheim travels to Tamriel after she goes through a traumatic event in order to recover. There she'll become invested in the Imperial City Arena as well as the Fighter's guild and eventually the Blades.

Martin wavered, his fingers slowing but continuing on with their small circles on her wrist, “It could, I won’t lie to you about that either. I’ll endeavor to make it as painless as possible though.” He searched her face for a moment, trying to gauge her thoughts. He frowned again before adding, “But, I’d like to try, if you’d allow me?” -

Slight rewrite of my first fanfic so be gentle! You don't really need to be familiar with TES games to understand this fic.
Someone from Earth ends up on a very real Nirn, in Cyrodiil as the prisoner, reacting as realistically as I'd imagine a person can.
Written before I heard of “Y/N” used or reader insert characters, so some changes here. No defined gender or appearance.
A little narration, and a little –speech– by other characters, but mainly ~journal~ based by a gamer who has the misfortune of being noticed by an immortal. Expecting to die, the truth dying with us. Hoping to be home again, woken from the nightmare.
You learn things don't necessarily go as you might predict, and may not go well at all when such beings have begun to involve themselves with events which have not yet occurred. When Earth has the misfortune of being noticed.

In his moments of melancholy a part of him tasted bitterness to understand how many parts of him were scattered to the wind. An unraveling shawl, endless loose threads that just would not stop, and soon enough his melancholy turned to anger and its cause was forgotten.
So it was for centuries, until dragons returned to Tamriel - and with them, the Dragonborn.
For the first time Sheogorath could remember all the endless noise and costumes came to a standstill. Standing on Tamriel once more, under the shadow of dragon wings, one of the loose threads of his mind was pulled tight and plucked.
