Every time Bam watched the stars, he felt distant, as if he wanted to chase them and never look back. It made Khun want to hold him and never let him leave.

The hand that held Bam's was pale and slender yet also filled with callouses, a sign of hardship that Bam was familiar with. After all, his own hand was gradually filled with such callouses from his own attempts to reach the light at the top of his cave.
It made him wonder what kind of life the other boy lived through to litter his hands with such marks.
But more than that, the boy's hand was incredibly warm.
Much warmer than Bam expected, as if telling Bam that he was right there next to him.

Known as the "Floor of Dreams," the test requires the regulars to be put to sleep in a pod that would show them what they most desired and they had to see through and realize that they were in a dream.
Many have failed and retook the test more than 10 times for the task is not an easy one, especially since everything they have ever wanted was shown in front of them.
Bam's team is no different, with the exception of Khun Aguero Agnis.
