“How can I ask this of you?” Merlin whispered, “I was meant to bring peace to Albion, not destroy it. I’m no good if you get hurt.”
The king took his court sorcerer’s hands. They were trembling, frail things like little fledglings, and he gripped tight and didn’t let go, “Merlin. Camelot fights for what is right. Once magic was reinstated, I pledged to be an ally to you and your kind. I, and this kingdom, would be a disgrace to that promise if I did nothing now.”
Merlin gazed at him so desperately. Arthur didn’t know what to do with it. Merlin was always so strong, usually being the one to comfort Arthur. He was his best advisor, and his closest confidant, and he’d never seen him so anguished.
The golden age of Albion was here, or so Merlin thought. After learning of sorcerers in the hundreds being captured and enslaved by a neighbouring kingdom, Merlin felt more useless than ever. What use is Emrys if he can't protect his people? He had to act, but he couldn't bring Camelot into it; the risk was too high. Unfortunately, his friends didn't see eye to eye with him on that, and insisted on fighting with him. Would they come out victorious?
Would they survive at all?

Summary
Arthur first met Merlin in a meadow of mayflowers. On the same day he also learned about the magical school of Hogwarts and that he wasn’t cursed, but was in fact magic too.
Years later and Arthur is fighting Britain’s dark magical forces with the boy that gave him a rose all those years ago. And perhaps flirting a little with him too..

This isn’t how Merlin wanted to be found by a miraculously returned Arthur, but this is his reality.

Merlin has had nightmares ever since Arthur died, and is forced to relive his king's death every night. But he has a break from that nightmare every once in a while. During his nightmares, his magic goes off, causing destruction, and at times, death even. One night during his long awaited peaceful dream, he meets Dream of the Endless. Morpheus tells him that he causes damages in the Waking World, and offers to take the nightmare away. To his surprise, Merlin refuses.

Summary
Arthur had spent so much of his life fighting. Indeed, he had died- over a thousand years ago, he reminded himself- while on the battlefield. Dangerous things were just drawn to him. The universe had probably stuck a “Kick me” sign on his back that was only visible to violent beings.
What he would give to be attacked again, to have his sword in his hand and cut through the enemies in front of him.
But it wasn’t that simple with Merlin. It never was.

Merlin doesn't know whats wrong with him, he starts blacking out and his magic is going haywire. He is haunted by visions of Camelot falling, Arthur being killed by a hooded man. Merlin starts to loose his way in a desperate bid to stop his vision coming to pass, turning to dark magic and a band of druids known as the 'Déaþscúa'. But is Merlin just helping it all come true?
