My apologies, Princess. He signed, a slight frown coming to his face. I would—
“No, it’s—” Despite everything, a flush came to her throat, in the icy blush that erupted across the tension, “It’s very strong.”
Link looked like he wasn’t sure whether he was supposed to take that as a compliment or an insult, and honestly, Zelda didn’t either. But she knew one thing she should say.
“It’s good.” Zelda settled on, situating herself more properly. “Thank you.”

Summary
Link had seen the horrors of the war firsthand. He had been damned from the start, and all he had done was make himself even more irredeemable. He was not a good man, much less an okay one. He had paid the price of his misdeeds with his right arm, but he did not feel that was enough.
He finds himself in Hateno soon after leaving the frontlines of the war a cripple. He had no use there, so he’d attempt to build a new life brick-by-brick. A life away from the war, away from the suffering he had witnessed.
Link soon finds out he has signed up for more than he bargained for, and finds himself thrust back into the war, but from a new perspective.

He is rather anxious about everything, seeing as he is an outcast from everywhere except his home. Even after 100 years and some character-developing amnesia, Kohga is still grieving his best lackey. With the recent sightings of more gloom, malice and a few familiar faces, tension is high and memories are more important than ever.

Link reels in a large fish from the middle of the pond, much bigger than anything Sheik's managed to catch so far, and passes the rod with an encouraging smile. Sheik sighs, nods, and casts the rod as far as he can. After all, one more fish isn't going to doom the world.
Sheik learns to finds time for himself in the quiet moments of a soon-doomed world.

In a Hyrule that has just entered an armistice, tensions between the Gerudo and Hylians are still high. Zelda's Triforce abilities have only recently awakened and now she's been forced outside of the castle and into the three different springs of the Golden Goddesses. She has been told it's to better connect herself with the three Goddesses and ensure that peace is kept. However, all she feels is that her time could be spent elsewhere.
Everything changes when Ganondorf runs off from the safety of Gerudo Valley and shows Hyrule that there has been a male Gerudo born after a thousand years. Swirls of untold prophecies begin to spread. Distrust rises as the Gerudo continue to seclude themselves from the rest of Hyrule along with their secrets. Meanwhile, The Yiga clan works in the shadows to bring a period of darkness using all means necessary.
When Zelda and Ganondorf are pushed together they find themselves in a pool of complicated feelings of what they are meant to be and what they want to be. As demise looms over the world, they must ask what they would do for themselves and each other; what their part of the Triforce is, and what they will sacrifice to keep it; and if they can end the cycle of reincarnation.
