Louis made a gesture to Claudia to stand further back. She crossed her arms with a stubborn huff and stayed right where she was. With a hesitant hand and a difficult, equally stubborn readjustment of his crutches, Louis slipped his fingers into the out of place wall and pulled it backwards.
Immediately the smell of rot and grime hit his nostrils and his face tightened into a scrunch with the sensation of it. It took his eyes longer to adjust than his nose, but once they did, he realized he was crouched opposite the form of a young man, a stranger, pressed up against the wall behind himself in terror. Dead rats were scattered around him and dust was caked onto his body from the surroundings of the hidden alcove. Perhaps most disturbing was the state of his hands, which must have been removed from his body, and were now sewn on with a haphazard repair job with stitches bulging out from around the reddened, irritated skin that was battling with the body as it tried to heal itself.

This is an excerpt from a chapter of my story, La Chambre Ardente de Mon Cœur (wherein it appears as-is, but in a rather different context), but I thought maybe some people who didn’t desire full on psychological trauma might still enjoy some darkly sensual trauma, with a touch of erotic power play.
