“You’re a Wish Doctor?”
“You could call me that if you wish,” Niklaus winked, taking a long sip of his drink. “Now tell me, what do you desire?”The Being didn’t reply for a moment, “Are you asking what I want or what I need?”
He shrugged, “Could be either.”
“Well, I want to know who I am.”

Chip thrives on routine. Wake up, work at the docks, spend his evenings at the tavern, sleep. Rinse and repeat. Never mind the constant headaches or the way there were some blanks in his memory or the fact that whenever he looks at the ocean it fills him with such overwhelming dread. If he followed his routine, everything would perfectly fine.
