Summary
An AU set in the game’s canon universe, where Jeff makes some different choices. Of course he still chooses Dave. It begins before Zach enters the Ophir barracks, and concludes after the end of the game; and is told through Jeff’s eyes. The plot intersects with that of the game at various points; where necessary, the game’s story has been modified to fit. There is a plot, of course; but the journey is more important than the destination.
