Nesta and Cassian disagree over bedtime versus reading time. Their son loves thunderstorms and thinks punching a cloud sounds rather fun.
Tarquin and his mate Ria enjoy a quiet moment at sea together while their daughter sleeps.
Feyre and Nyx built a blanket fort to ride out the storm, and Rhys arrives during the construction aftermath.

It’s not long before Az puts two and two together when it comes to the clever, friendly five-year-old with the long black hair and her mother’s eyes. Throw in a local music venue/theater that needs an influx of cash to stay afloat, some small town holiday traditions, an upcoming Nutcracker performance, and a dash of friendly intervention, and it’s a recipe for a Christmas Hallmark-esque romance for Azriel and Gwyn.

Feyre was perched on a mound of rubble, gazing blankly at some spot in the distance that no one else seemed to be able to see. She was still filthy, dust, dirt, and blood covering her, though Rhysand had done his best to wash the worst of it off her face. He hadn’t got to her hands yet and Nesta couldn’t contain the smallest of shudders that rocked through her at the sight of them, wholly red from the blood she’d spilled.
“Feyre?” Rhysand prompted, and Nesta was glad that only she was close enough to hear how the male’s voice shook. He reached out to touch her sister’s face, thumb stroking along her jaw, voice breaking as he said, “Feyre, darling?”
Still her sister didn’t answer, just swayed slightly as if the slightest of breezes might topple her, her face still and hard as if hewn from granite. Another tremble shuddered through Nesta, and she found herself wondering if she would ever see life in Feyre’s face again.
Nesta observes her sister in the aftermath of battle and prays that they'll be able to hold her together while she heals. For Febuwhump Day 16 prompt: "does that hurt?".
