Kwazii and Paani are doing some water research at the Love Lagoon of Misool Island, until the pirate cat tells a pirate tale about the lagoon’s waters containing love magic and that whoever swims in it falls deeply in love with the person they set their eyes on. So when Paani decides to test that hypothesis by taking a dive into the lagoon and have Kwazii dive down to him, they don’t feel any magic effecting them at first. That is until the night where Paani decides to play a prank on Kwazii to get back at his pirate tale, Kwazii springs his attack on the startled macaque first, only with such affection that it leaves Paani flustered and weak but enjoying this moment. Could it really be that the love magic of Love Lagoon is starting its affect on them, or could it be something else?

Windward is a relatively quiet town on the Canadian east coast. Nothing interesting or newsworthy really happens there, except the occasional hurricane and holidays. Or at least nothing that the general public is aware of. It's late spring, and a freak earthquake has just kick-started a chain of events that will bring six teens together and thrust them into adventures beyond all imagining. Nothing is off the table and no one can say for sure what's next, but one thing is for sure: Windward will never be the same again.
Featuring a giant octopus mech, crystals of a peculiar nature and teenagers who are prone to unwise decisions. What could go wrong?
No knowledge of Octonauts is required to enjoy this fic. It can be read as an original story.

Peso walked through the darkened forest. Since Kwazii and the others were busy on the octopod Barnacles had told him to explore and find samples from the forest nearby.
Peso waddles left to right, being spooked by the smells and sounds of the forest. Though it was only 6pm, it was dark out.
Peso continued to walk down the rock pathway. “Well..there’s nothing out here.” Peso muttered to himself “I’ll just take some of these rocks and bring them back for Shelly.” Peso bent down and he grabbed some rocks that ranged from grey, to brown to white.
