“Stop.” Nick doesn’t interject with his courtroom voice, but it’s something close, and Maya’s startled not just at the force of the statement but at the exhaustion in his tone. “That’s…I thought I already told you not to bring him up.” Maya opens her mouth before she can think about it, a rush of righteous indignance flooding through her body.
“What, is he just going to be another Mia?” She blurts out, half-yelling and carried only by her anger and her wish that they just fucking talked about the ghosts threatening to strangle the both of them for once in their lives, before anything like sentiments of compassion or reason that the elders at Kurain seemed insistent on beating into her can take control of her. “We can’t keep doing this, Nick!”
Nick and Maya didn’t fight. They bickered often, and on very rare occasions one of them said something mean to the other, but they never argued. That’s why the only thing Nick said in response to that, in combination with a withering glare, was, “Eat your food and go to bed.”
Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth chooses death. Spirit Medium Maya Fey is left to deal with the consequences.

For this full moon, he's just gonna head into the city outskirts. There's a werewolf pack out there he's friendly with, having defended their leader some years back. They'll keep him from the world if he loses control.
This is all thrown out when Trucy insists on going camping, and when Edgeworth agrees to go with them.
Now, his only goals are:
- Survive the weekend without rampaging.
- Don't let anybody find out his secret.
- Have a good camping trip despite the first two.
