Silas is 28, she's lived in the city, and very possibly exactly what he's looking for to break up the monotony of this boring country life until he can make it to the city himself and finally live the life he's always wanted. She's the best rebellion he's had, but like all good rebellions, the upheaval of the norm it causes isn't always easy.
