The sigh doesn’t seem to be out of annoyance, more out of defeat. He tries to cock his head little upwards, to catch his gaze, but Carlos stubbornly keeps looking just above his head, into nothingness. The guilt washes over him like a tide because he should have known that Carlos would get caught up in those little words and make them out to be something that TK never intended them to be.
