Ness, who’s been standing by the foot of the bed, speaks up. He starts, already having an idea what Kaiser intended to do with the unconscious figure, “Should I hold him down if—”
“No need,” Kaiser cuts Ness off before he could finish; but he's not annoyed at the question, just eager, hungry. “You can watch.” With a tilt of the head, he motions at the chair on the side of the room, while still keeping his eyes on Yoichi. It’s an order to keep watch over the door, and at the same time a suggestion to watch them.
Whether that’s a punishment: having to watch Kaiser do this to Yoichi, or a reward: getting to watch Kaiser do this to Yoichi — Kaiser leaves figuring that out to Ness. It’s both, and he knows Ness would obey regardless.
Kaiser and Ness pay Yoichi a visit at the infirmary.

The interviewer doesn’t finish his sentence, unsure how to describe what he is seeing. He thinks that the sight is pretty self-explanatory, but perhaps not to them.
“So,” he starts, obviously uncomfortable; he’s still young, hasn’t been doing this job for long. His superiors probably wouldn’t have been fazed by this — or at least they wouldn’t have showed it — but, unfortunately, he hasn’t been in the field long enough to master his expressions and posture. He glances down at the notes in his hands, checking the names, even though he perfectly memorized them. “Nagi Seishirou and Mikage Reo, right?”-

"From Manshine, huh?" Kaiser's eyes trail along the row of their players.
While Reo hopes Chigiri can still play with him and Nagi, he readies himself for the possibility of losing the power of Chigiri's speed. He thinks of their other teammates, maybe Kaiser might go for them with their bigger builds and experience in playing in more professional games. But then Kaiser meets his eyes and a grin appears on his lips.

Reo is too much sometimes, Nagi thinks, as he looks down with hooded eyes and bated breath at Reo nuzzling the palm cupping his cheek.
He already knows something's going to happen when Reo looks at him and grins that cheeky grin that tells Nagi he better watch with both eyes open.

Kaiser blinked, stunned. He could hardly believe what he was hearing.

Kaiser’s face twisted in disgust. No way. There is no way. This was beyond ridiculous.
After a crushing defeat to Isagi in the previous match, Kaiser’s world spirals further when the old geezers, catering to fan demand, force him into an ‘experiment’ with his rival. His nemesis. Training, meals, and every moment in between—together. He hates it. Or at least, he should. But as the days pass, frustration, and tension blur into something far more dangerous.

“Well, I’ve gotta prove myself to you somehow.” Nagi says, reaching behind and grabbing the bonnet of Reo’s car, turning around as his grip tightens.
“Nagi, what are you—”
“See?” He says, effortlessly lifting the car clean off of its designated parking spot, lifting it perfectly vertical to the ground.
Reo’s scream is loud enough to wake up an entire neighborhood.
“Treasure??”
