Why are you leaving without saying goodbye?
The day Hikari's father disappeared, she was thrust into a world she was never supposed to take part in. A world filled with pain, suffering and betrayal. Chewed up and spit out by the place she called home, she lived a nomadic life, travelling from one place to another and making tough decisions, never finding a place to belong until she met him.
Itachi Uchiha's eyes sparked fear, his loneliness evoked sympathy and his story inspired love. Hikari found herself a willing participant in his plans, selfishly clinging to him as he repeatedly asked her to let go. She knew what she was getting into from the start. That didn't stop her, and it didn't stop the pain.
Nothing could've prepared her for what was to come.

That’s right. It was just his father. Just the clan elders. Just a few righteous Uchiha who tried to stop Shisui from killing them. Not more than forty of the hundred Uchiha.
Just under half of his clan.
Alternatively: The Uchiha Massacre happens by Shisui's hand two years earlier, while Itachi is none the wiser to his motivations. He's now eleven, turning twelve soon, and he has issues. Must be a side-effect from being in ANBU as a literal child. Or the fact your best friend killed half your clan. Who knows.

I have received complaints on the pacing, and if you prefer stories that have shorter beginnings to get into the meat of the story, then you might enjoy the action chapters from when Daisuke is a Genin. There is a little more going on. Hope you enjoy anyways!
