Summary
Maria wanted a friend. Gun wanted a weapon. Gerald wanted her wish fulfilled. Eight years of innocence, fracture, and loss forged Maria under endless surveillance, manipulation, and cruelty into Echo. Fourteen years of observation, silence, and ritual shaped Echo into Mira, a being who bends reality, defies death, and holds what they thought they could control. Every protocol failed. Every plan backfired. In the end, the universe itself answers to the consequences of their desires—because a child’s wish, when unstoppable, reshapes the world.

Summary
The world called him a weapon.
She called him her friend. When the ARK fell silent, Maria refused to let the universe forget the boy who protected her.
Grief became invention. Devotion became something unrecognizable.
Every promise she made to bring him back pulled her further from what she was meant to be.There were no glass choir satellites yet, no black star containment, no grand design—only a child clutching a broken dream and calling it strength.
In the end, all she wanted was for the world to remember him.
But the universe does not remember gently.Star of Golden Shadow is the story that started as an idea and then became the wish that would break the world.

and others burn simply because they cannot bear the dark.”

Summary
“You cannot quantify a wish.” — Dr. Gerald Robotnik
It began with a six-year-old’s promise: “I’m Maria. And you’re going to be my best friend.”
The world ended, but the wish never learned how to stop.
Through experiments, archives, and echoes of a girl who refused to disappear, The Wish Project asks what happens when a promise outlives its reason to exist—when love and grief keep rewriting the universe to make the same answer true.
Together they form a complete record of how the universe tried to study a child’s heart—and broke itself in the process.
This is my 31-year tribute to Sonic’s universe, to Maria, and to the wish that broke the world.
