Zenitsu tends to be confused as someone who prefers being a loner, and he's okay with that if it wasn't so false. Zenitsu wants people around him, he wants people that will support his decisions and lifestyle. Yet, he drives people away just by his personality. Tanjirou loses most of his family to the infection, except for his sister, Nezuko. Unfortunately, they get split up after they're attacked by Infected, and Tanjirou spends the next few months searching for his sister, all while doing his best to survive.
He meets a blond boy named Zenitsu along the way, bonding with him and slowly catching feelings. The two stay by each other's side during Tanjirou's journey, fighting off enemies together, hand in hand.
