Santiago, his faithful butler even in the after life, has discovered Lestat and Louis' advertisement and after seeing the great resemblance and shared name Louis has with Armand's deceased lover, he thinks this is a chance for them all to FINALLY move on.
Perhaps if this time, Louis chooses Armand and they kill themselves together then this can be over for all of them.

Armand didn’t work so hard to keep Daniel alive to let Louis get him killed now. He’ll have to come to grips with being face-to-face with a version of Daniel who is thirty-seven-years older and dying one way or another.
