Summary
When nine heroes were brought together on an adventure, they'd thought that that was all that they were; nine heroes, nine brothers, nine Links, all called to save the world together, as a team.
When evidence starts to indicate that one of them is more than that though, each hero takes it upon himself to defend his new knowledge and the brother that it concerns, unbeknownst to the rest. After all, princes aren't taken well to in Hyrule, and trust each other though they might with their own lives, they're not yet ready to trust each other with someone else's, especially when that person is Hylia's own blood. -

"What's been going on with Hyrule?" Warriors chimes, picking lint off his scarf mindlessly.
"Hmm? What do you mean?" Time replied, slightly alerted. It had been long since they have heard of the boy, longer so than they've seen him. "Is there something wrong with Hyrule?" He queried after an uncomfortable beat of silence, one filled with Warriors' nervous picking, and Legend's impatiently-tapping foot.
Instinctively, he flickers his gaze over to Legend, who throws his head into his hands in restless exasperation. At least the tapping stopped.
"Some fucker made fun of his stutter." He sneered. "Now he won't talk."

Hyrule and Legend face some trouble. Hyrule takes the worst of the damage. Legend tries to fix it on his own.

While already dealing with a faulty Sheikah Slate that’s been using him as a powerhouse since the Sheikah Towers sunk back into the earth, Link has been waking up in a trance-like state in the middle of the night.
A tugging sensation pulls him to the West of Hyrule, prompting him to discover what greater purpose lies beyond his completed heroics. Here, a voice tells him to ‘join them’… but who?
And when he does find them, how is he supposed to easily move with their already established dynamic as the odd man out? How is he supposed to endure such a new change in life?

Intertwining lights of Gold and Sheikah Blue, forming wings at her back as she jumped. Invisible to her, but shining like a star to anyone with Courage in their veins.
Falling until the last moment and whipping out a piece of fabric that was very obviously unnecessary. She turned and started to bound over to the heroes she had helped on their way.
None of the eight recognized her until she got closer.
Legend gasped, Sky shrieked, and Wind looked like he was going to faint. Time stood stunned, even him blown away by the appearance, Hyrule took in a sharp and short breath, Four looked like they were going to scream and Wars eyes widened until they couldn't anymore. Twilight actually started shaking from what seemed to be disbelief and possibly excitement.
"Well, well, well, Heroes! Looks like we meet again!"

Summary
The absence of the familiar comfort is deeply felt, but it's hard to find a safe place to do it on the road. By himself, he could clear out a burrow somewhere and ward the doors, but he can't just wander off on his own anymore. For all that being with the Chain affords him a level of safety he's never experienced before, it also means hiding things.
A lot of things.

Sky rested his head on his hand, eyes lazily following Four around as they leaped over strewn objects on the floor, dove between the dining room chairs, and hid under the Skycloth whenever the world got too big and scary for them.
Yawning, Sky blinked the bleariness out of his eyes as a fond smile crept on their face. Four skipped behind the couch, and a sharp gasp had cut through the comforting silence -save for Four’s excited footsteps- before Sky heard a loud thud, followed by a bitten-back wail.

What if they went back in time multiple times to guide their previous incarnations? What if they had control over Time and Soul? What if they mutated their blood? What if, that's the question. Will they be able to hide the truth from the chain or will the truth come out one way or another.
Hylia and the golden three were pissed, yes they had fun using the Tri-force to create chaos and had fun watching mortals scramble trying to face Demise and his reincarnations. What they didn't appreciate was the state the world was in. It was in ruins and nothing was left alive. They used their abilities and set the world back to the beginning. Though for more fun entertainment they chose the latest reincarnations of the hero, the princess, and demise to be gods. They all rule over their own domains. Time, Soul, Dimension.
