Summary
Rook had lived a peaceful, relatively secluded life in the Grand Necropolis. It had been that way for years, long enough that she thought she'd finally found her purpose. But good things never last, do they? Somewhere along a series of never-ending missteps, she found herself in charge of a team tasked with taking down two escaped elven gods.
For someone who claimed to not believe in fate, there were entirely too many things that had to go wrong in order to bring her face-to-face with the man who would end up changing her life. With the help of Lucanis and the spirit possessing him, the mysteries of her past start fitting together. But sometimes remembering hurts worse than the unanswered questions ever did.
--------
AKA I created a head-canon for this Rook that consumed my thoughts, so I started writing it out, and then it kept changing and evolving, eventually turning into a novel length fic. Follows a handful of key in-game events, but focuses on lots of additional "in-between" interactions that better develop the relationship between Rook and Lucanis. (Expect slight canon divergences) -

Summary
Sometimes the smallest choices can change everything.
Varric’s decision to hire a blood mage to stop Solas was one of them.
This is the story of a Rook who isn’t quite what anyone expected. Morally gray and socially awkward, she has little interest in making friends. Enter an Antivan Crow, suspicious of her from the start, and suddenly her plans begin to unravel, threatening more than just her secrecy.
This is also the story of Lucanis Dellamorte, an assassin turned abomination, the last thing he wants is to work alongside the very kind of mage he once hunted. Enter his personal bane, who’s somehow the most tolerant, accepting person he’s ever known, and now he isn’t so sure if he should trust his instincts or his morals.
“You know,” she said, voice low as she raised her hand to gently brush the ridge of the dagger. “I don’t normally use other people's blood in my spells. But I do use my own. So if you’re ever going to try and kill me—” her fingers drifted to skim the blade’s edge, just shy of drawing blood, and Lucanis pulled back with a grunt. “—make sure to do it in one clean move. Or otherwise, without blood involved.”

Summary
This is the sequel to More of a Rook than a Crow, which in turn is technically a sequel to Dragon Age the Veilguard. This means major spoilers for Veilguard!
Thedas is saved, which means that Isabella can return to the fold as Lucanis begins his new work as well. However, with a strange letter addressed to her at Villa Dellamorte, she is asked to discuss something that Viago was hoping to sweep under the rug.
The King of Antiva has learned that Rook was a Crow, and Rook has been summoned for an audience with the King. Only, Isabella hasn't gone by that name for several months and very few people knew who Rook really was. Is it a trap, or does the King really just want to extend his personal thanks to her for saving the world?
And when cloaked figures appear to pave the path for those from across the sea, it seems that Isabella might need to get the Veilguard back together to find out exactly what is going on.

Summary
A character focused fix-it romance exploring Lucanis’s emotional arc and the relationship with Rook that the canon never gave the depth and focus it deserved. The tension, the softness, the slow burning desire beneath all that discipline and pain. A story of quiet moments, breaking down walls, demonic understanding and a love that changes everything - whether he’s ready for it or not.
Inspired by Stray Italian Greyhound (Vienna Teng) and the real world life changing love I found when I met my husband ❤︎

Summary
He finds a dagger nestled inside the package. It’s well-made but unassuming, one of a thousand hidden up the sleeves of Crows across the continent. He can tell it was cleaned in a hurry, the surface smeared with a thin sheen of crimson and something darker– a cheap poison he surmises. The good ones don’t leave a stain. His fingers stop as he touches the serrated edge. He knows the pattern. He’d traced the exact scar over Phyrra’s shoulder the last time she’d come to his bed. She hadn’t seen who’d attacked her, just heard their screams as she’d shoved them from Minrathous’ city walls.
Spite inhales. “Smells like. Deathroot. Iron.” His sharp eyes narrow, snapping to Illario again. “Rook.”
Lucanis tightens his fist over the handle. “Who was it?”
“One of the lower Houses took the contract. None of the Talons would ever accept that- at least for now.” Another whimper comes through the cellar door. Illario kicks it harder. “I’m holding onto the specific details until I know you’re not going to do something stupid.”

Summary
“So... Lucanis,” Lyvia said at last, her voice slipping into the hush like a knife into cloth.
Rook didn’t turn, didn’t risk loosening her focus. Her gaze stayed pinned to the overseer as he paused briefly beneath a lantern’s sputtering light to look around him, then moved on. “What about him?” she asked, her tone even and controlled.
Lyvia tilted her head as she walked, sharp-eyed, her attention flicking between Rook and their quarry as if neither deserved to be neglected. “You’re both Crows, but you never crossed paths until the Veilguard?”
“There are a lot of Crows in Antiva,” Rook said, her voice pitched low. The words felt mechanical - practiced, but necessary. “I knew of him, but no, we never met until then.”

Summary
Lucanis pushed the pram housing his precious love through the market area of Treviso with a bit of pride swelling in his chest. Plenty of Abuela’s had stopped to coo over Elaris and to congratulate them on “such a wonderful gift”. Most market stall holders were offering gifts and trinkets to honour the birth and to keep their favour with the Talons of the Crows, so much so the undercarriage of the pram was overflowing with all sorts of stuff.
Lucanis and Isseya are still adjusting to their new roles as parents and Spite is adjusting to babies in general. Can he be trusted around such an innocent being?
