The door swings open. “Dak! I desperately hope you’re not decent, though I’m sure I can fix th—“ He hears Kal pause, as he takes in the clearly pathetic sight. Then, he sighs, cheeriness replaced by annoyance. “Really? Another one of your moods already? And here I thought you were actually getting over all of this.”
Dakkar scoffs. It comes out far too wet, far too weak. “Apologies that I’m distraught after murdering multiple innocent people, Kalfu.” Apologies for being horrified I enjoyed it.
