Summary
It is a time of peace in the Lands Between. After a series of bloody wars, the Golden Order and the House of Caria have come to a tentative accord, sealed by the marriage of General Radagon of Leyndell to the Queen of the Full Moon. But Queen Marika knows all too well the dangers of dropping one's guard.

Peace with Caria means that the libraries of Raya Lucaria have opened their gates once more, and Gideon intends to spend the rest of his days probing the mysteries of magic.
