The second he saw their faces he froze, choking. As if his soul left his body. Suddenly very glad of his decision to slip on those pants.
Sitting at the kitchen bar were Vio’s roommates. All of them. Blue, Green, and his brother Red. All with varying expressions of: pissed, embarrassed, and outright mortified.
He meant to introduce them, he really did. In fact, he had been planning on it that day. In two hours, when their classes were out. It was midweek and Vio had off while the others had classes. One day a week it lined up perfectly like that.
Unfortunately a small fire in the west wing shut down all classes early. Not that they knew all that.

Fire is beautiful, it moves like a dancer; never staying still, but it can do it fast, not letting you time to get away from it. Fire is beautiful, but not slow. It has a pretty color anyone could recognize, but it has the bad luck of being the color of danger; anyone relating it with bad thing. Its color is pretty, a dangerous one. It can bring light around us, together with a comfortable warm when it is cold, but the warm will turn into hot, damaging flesh and turning everything to ash. It is the light and warm in our lives, but it can kill us if it wants.
