Reese happens to overhear from the jocks he 'hangs' with at the school fountain that there's going to be a party at Jackson Smith's house. Jackson is a jock and has all the ladies, or just about anyone wrapped around his finger. Reese also happens to hear the key words 'girls' and 'beer'. And that's what captures his attention.
Reese decided that he was gonna make a name for himself tonight. He sketched out a whole plan in sixth period in order to become popular. Let's just say it involved a water-gun and a top-hat.
Unfortunately Reese couldn't find either of those things, so he showed up empty-handed to this HUGE party, there had to be at least a thousand people in and outside of that house. I mean it's Jackson Smith for crying out loud.Reese considered inviting Malcolm, but considering Malcolm was still in middle school he decided against it. Also not to mention that Malcolm swore off on parties ever since the last one..which..we won't talk about.
Once Reese gets to this party he attempts to mingle, but ends up just feeling sorry for himself and drinking himself upstairs and into a bedroom. He slouches against the door when he realizes that his attempt to get alone was unsuccessful.
