He is captured by a group of elitist elves prejudice against rhose that were held in Angband. And they mean to make an example of him.

Life in Gondolin has been good for so many years, it was easy to forget how much of a luxury it was that romance was the biggest problem. Ecthelion and Glorfindel dance around each other for years, Rog and Duilin are in more of an open conflict, and Idril knows what she wants and has no problem taking it.

Feanor only agreed to help the Valar out of the "goodness" of his heart and sheer curiosity. He did not expect that the Valar wanted him to stay in a house taking care of fourteen children who either hate him or fear him, there is no in-between. Feanor thinks that this arrangement is more than what he bargained for.

It is no secret the elves that had the displeasure of being captives in Angband are shunned and mistrusted by their fellow elves. Though that prejudice is not just set against the ones touched by Morgoth's minions. Sauron to left his Dark mark on elves of the third age. A mark that is no less distrusted than Morgoth's. A group of elves determined to Purify that which cannot be taken by even Lorien's hand, seek to temedy this unremovable touch of darkness. Rog and his friends find themselves in a desperate situation to retain their own freedom. Luckily he has a Feanorian, an territorial stegosaurus, and two Prince's of their people ready to fight for their right to freedom and peaceful lives. But will help come in time

Maeglin had survived the journey to Gondolin with his mother, and was, at first, welcome by his uncle, Turgon, the king of the hidden city. However, when his father, Eol had been discovered to have followed them and made his fatal choice that took Aredhel's life and doomed him to execution Maeglin's fate was doomed. Turgon's judgement upon Maeglin for his father's sin and for the Avari blood he possessed was harsh, and only because of their kinship was he not given a worse sentence. He was to become the servant of one of the lords of Gondolin for 200 years, one hundred for his fathers sin and one hundred for his fathers blood flowing through his veins. What will his life become when an unwilling lord pulls the shortest straw?
Aurielle is the servant of Ecthelion, and although she is treated kindly by her master, her heart longs for freedom beyond the stone hewn city though she knows that it is a pointless dream. When she befriends Maeglin and he tells her tales of what lays beyond the pristine white walls of Gondolin, and in return she teaches him how to make the best of his terrible circumstances. Together they suffer the hardships of a life trapped in a beautiful cage and find comfort in their friendship.
