Gothmog remains standing. He has no respect for this man; one has no respect for any creature lesser than oneself. But he would be a worse fool than Bauglir if he thought the man a fool only. Some of his moods are downright dangerous, some of his mad schemes are desperately successful.
This looks to be a dangerous mood. Gothmog casts his dice.
“So he’s still alive,” he says, confidential-like. “More than alive. As well and wily as ever, eh?”

Summary
Despite what a number of idiots thought at the prestigious Tirion University, Erestor was not naive. When he had been paired with one Bilbo Baggins he hadn't thought much of it. A quick search on the internet told him that Baggins was a rather common name in the western part of the country and while there was a chance said roommate could be the sole heir of the enormously wealthy Baggins line the odds were slim at best. So Erestor hadn't thought much of the slim young man who had taken the right side of their dorm room, nor had he thought much about the way this Bilbo had offered to take him out to dinner on their first night, so they might get to know one another.

Summary
Turgon has finally had enough of Maeglin’s harassment and attempts to seduce Idril and decides that he must get rid of the problem before it gets any worse. He arranges Maeglin’s marriage to another one of his Lords and it doesn’t quite go as planned.
Rog thinks he is a suitable candidate for the traumatised Maeglin, as he can understand him.
That’s not so.

Due to a warning given by Ulmo, Turgon was forced to make a decision that he dreaded: To flee his beautiful, hidden city. However, as his family was greatly displeased at his actions of stealing away a third of their best people, he was forced to take drastic measures. He sends his Lords and his daughter to Doriath's borders, in hopes that they will grant the mercy of selling them one of their lands for their people to rebuild.

It had started as a simple, if not boring, negotiation council between the two kingdoms. Simply talk about open lands, settle on a price, then hopefully establish a trade that would make this easier for them both. However, there was a complication that could very well break their entire city.The simple scribe that sat in the Nan Elmoth council was simply too beautiful to look away from!
