Summary
Follows the now non-canon events in "Smile from the Heart" just after the return of Marian and the Season 3 Finale. In this sequel, Robin and Regina are heart-sharing soul mates, but Regina has lost her magic. Marian has been reunited with her first and real True Love. Wonderland has an inter-realm business agreement with Storybrooke with The White Rabbit providing transportation. Everything seems to be coming up roses in Storybrooke -- but that's usually when the trouble starts and Regina's past does have a way of catching up with her.
The key events of the original story are recapped in the first chapter, so it's not necessary to read "Smile From the Heart" but I recommend doing so -- mostly because I'm so darned proud of it.
