Summary
The world operates on one simple, universal truth: Everything comes with a price. Sometimes the currency is money. Sometimes it is blood. Other times it is your body, soul and mind.
Daken is but a child when he learns to live by that concept. It’s carved into him by sharp claws and whispered lies. It becomes all that he believes in without a single doubt left in his mind. If he wants something, if he needs something, he will have to pay the price for it.
The only other thing that he trusts is that life for him began in blood and that it will end in blood. The single question that is left is whether or not he will still have a soul left at the end of it all. Or if the noise in his head, the hands around his throat and the claws ripping into him have stolen everything that made him human.

This is a Canon Divergent AU set in the 1970s, after Victor von Doom is expelled from university but before he entered the monastery. Instead, Romulus sends Daken to kill Victor's childhood love, to capture him away from the various covert organizations and militaries that want his power, and to make him theirs.
But for two heartless, devil-touched men, the path to their true desires is long. Victor's leads him to Latveria, to rip a throne from the man who killed his father and make a place of comfort for the family he knew. Daken's leads him from heartbeat to stilled heartbeat, from bed to empty bed, seeking a power in the shadows that requires, to build its terrifying presence, an equally terrifying light.

Summary
Daken likes sex. It's always come easy for him. So, after being let loose from Romulus after a while, he figured that since he was so good at sex he could make easy money from it. The trouble is that when you're willing to take on otherworldly 'clients' that are far from 'safe'... or 'sane', things can get... messy. So, between dealing with a demon who has a bratty hellspawn (Literally) calling him for an escort job in the bowels of hell itself, a Norse god who comes and goes as he pleases- usually causing mass havoc, and a superhero or two, Daken finds himself getting more and more caught up with a client whose motives' may be just a little more ... human than his demon exterior would make it seem.
Daken is left with some pretty big decisions to make when all is said and done.

Summary
Adjusting to the Marvel Universe can be a pretty mind-blowing thing, as is trying to cope with several life threatening experiences. The Wolverine Clan is expanding, and as it does, so does their world in more ways than one. With that, Daken has much to answer for, including the consequences that affect those around him.
