Summary
I am, to put it mildly, a fan of Shakespeare. I love the language, I love the history, I love the variety of interpretations, I love the puns, and I love the queer subtext that shows up sometimes. And, because I like seeing the variety of interpretations, I enjoy watching different adaptations of popular titles to see what parts of the original they choose to keep and which parts they choose to change. It’s interesting, to me, to see how a new director takes the historic play and works it into a modern frame. It can shed new or different light on an interpretation of the original, sometimes in ways that are not wrong but are certainly a far cry from what the line or scene was ever meant to be.

Summary
Glenn grunts. "Get whatever the hell you want, so long as it doesn't involve me freezing in the mornings."
He laughs. "Okay, okay. But you should get up soon—you have a nine o'clock bio class. I have your schedule memorised," he adds, when it looks like the other is about to spout off some sort of protest about it being untrue.
Glenn grumbles again. "Fine," he says, "but only if you get me a cup of coffee."

Summary
I really loved this interpretation of Rome and Juliet. Since Glenn and Sam were both alive at the end of the movie, I thought the deserved the best of all possible futures. And we,the fans, deserved some speculation on what went on in the chemistry room.

Just my personal take on what happened after Friar Laurence/Adam said, "incorporate two in one." Also, a shout out to michaud (and their story: (At Least With You I Got To Be) Young And Happy), which was a very lovely inspiration.

Sam's lucky, really, that he has Josh around to goad him into doing anything besides lift weights and play the odd game of one-on-one basketball.
