As Vil made his way towards the living room, he realized that he could hear music. It sounded like the song one of the makeup artists had been humming earlier that day. He hadn’t asked them at the time about the song since he’d been focused on getting into his character and had forgotten to later.
Curious about the artist that he couldn’t quite place but whose voice sounded familiar, Vil rounded the corner to his living room. The actor was woefully unprepared to see an extreme closeup of Cater Diamond’s face on his 85 inch TV. Especially not with such a sultry expression. Objectively Vil knew that Cater had managed a career as a singer/songwriter and had even done some acting in a few smaller parts, but they hadn’t crossed paths since school. It hadn’t really registered with Vil how successful the ginger had become. However, the undeniable proof was on the screen in front of him.
The music video that was currently playing was upbeat and fast paced, exactly what the blonde would have expected from Cater, but it had a polished finish to it that the Pop Music Club never had. The videographer had done a fabulous job making Cater look like a mysterious bad boy.
