In the 2020’s, the existence of naturalized fae in Korea was almost non-existent thanks to the purge that occurred decades prior. Fae, despite being a peaceful race, had always held a bad reputation amongst the common folk throughout the country. It was said that fae were sinister, vindictive creatures who were known to spirit away anyone who dared step foot in their forests. After human witches took control governing all supernatural beings in a sort of truce with the non-magical human population in the early 90’s, the eradication of “unfavorable” supernaturals began. Entire fae colonies were destroyed with the few survivors attempting to flee to neighboring countries.
By the late 90’s, the few remaining fae colonies had become so small and reclusive that the younger human population thought them merely urban legends, unaware that they still lived deep in the mountain forests.
As time progressed, both fae and humans were taught to hate one another, constantly being told that stepping foot into the other’s realm would end in certain and torturous death. But when a curious fae boy stumbled upon a human wandering through his forest, all caution was thrown to the wind…
