Summary
The Fates watched as the sun fell out of the sky. Without his light, the world would fall too. They turned towards their tapestry; the golden thread was turning black. Soon, the sun would be snuffed out and even the Fates would join him in death. Six long, pale hands reached out and unspool the thread. A restart was needed, one that would ensure this never occurred again. The three had the how, where and when figured out, they simply needed to drag the sun along with them. Suddenly the hands fell still. The Fates began to fade but that was no matter. For Apollo would have the second chance he needed. The sun would rise again, it always did.

Mortals could say what they liked. The sun was bright, it was cheerful, it was healing, it helped things to grow.
Apollo knew the truth.
The sun was dangerous.
He was dangerous.

Summary
Apollo glared through a window at the harsh light of his own sun, feeling his power rolling off of his skin. Lightning bubbled in his veins, and he struggled to temper it. His hands came up to rub at his temples, the agony of an injury not entirely his pulling his attention away.
"Breathe, breathe," he quietly reminded himself. It was imperative that none of the others realized exactly who Lester was, so he had to pull himself together.
"Brother?" Hermes asked, popping up next to his throne.
Apollo screeched, and lightning exploded against the Appalachian Mountains. First, it was Artemis, and now Hermes. Thinking back, Apollo felt certain it was the Olympian Council's fault for most of what had gone on these past few months.

“Fine,” agreed Artemis after a brief moment, “We can skip.”
“Thank you, sis,” exclaimed Apollo cheerfully, jumping up in excitement. Hermes was quick to express his gratitude as well. Both bouncing around the garden like toddlers on a sugar high, which, honestly, was not that far off from.

Clipping a bird’s wings is a controversial practice. Many claim that it helps keep a bird safe, while others instead argue that it can cause major stress and injury to the animal either way.
Hermes needs to decide how he feels about it. And if it was for his good or not.
